ACE

Erikk works with GATO members to create fluid, brain-stomping tunes of shameless exuberance.

Infrignito Erikk is an Ecuadorian musician and artist based in London.

In the 7 years that Erikk has been active he has released 7 albums, exploring brain-stomping sounds in the Ecuatronica genre. Born in a small cave on the outskirts of Quito, Ecuador, he later moved to London to call for the reinstatement of turgidity in the naughties music scene, denouncing Ricky Martin and embracing the clamour of Cyndi Lauper.

Erikk now works closely with GATO, a creative collective formed in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Between the lot of them, a diverse and rumbustious shed-load of music has been created. Erikk naturally spends most of his time working with his fellow GATO London members, Ducky Tonsil, Jack Caramac, and Plate Tectonics – occasionally collaborating with Peteene, who is usually stationed in Dubai. The GATO Cheltenham members keep things going at their end – with an apparent increasing taste for writing political satire after consuming numerous glasses of wine.

Infrignito Erikk is currently working on his new album, We Say Ace. He plans to release the album in Summer 2013 – woodland creatures permitting.
